Do You Have A Good Complainer?
Do you have a good complainer?
Most people seem to have a built-in ability to complain that
is almost automatic.
This innate complainer may seem harmless, but as you grow spiritually
you become aware of it's destructive power.
Complaining is simply another way of criticizing.
When you complain you are imbuing the situation or circumstance
with even more negativity.
Complaining may seem natural and ordinary, but it zaps your
energy and leads you on an inner downward spiral.
Complaining is to hell as prayer is to heaven.
To disarm your complainer, become aware if its first negative
thought.
Notice that the complainer is NOT YOU, it is a part of your
MIND that functions independently of you.
YOU are what is AWARE of the complainer.
As you become aware of your complainer's first negative comment,
think of a word or phrase that will disarm it.
You might say something like, "Hush! You don't work for
me anymore."
Say something to your complainer that will stop it from continuing.
Then in your mind's eye, visualize a symbol for your complainer
that is moving away from you.
As you continue to practice this you will notice a new freedom
and a new lightness entering your life.
You will notice that you have the ability to experience joy
and to share this joy with others.
As you let go of your complainer, you open the door through
which true happiness and peace can enter.
Don't be zapped by your internal complainer!
If you let it, it will run (ruin) your life!
